Why did some guys in the Westmoreland GOP Committee...
have such a huge man crush on Judge Paul Panepinto (I don't know if I spelled it right, but don't care enough to look)? I just don't get it. Someone explain it to me.

They love him he's a spicy meatball Italian man. And because he gave Frank Schiefer money to work for him. (Not because he's a "True Conservative")
Good question. Of course those that did support him weren't terribly effective seeing that he didn't even get 1000 votes in this county.
Ive never understood the allure of the guy. But I know that Panepinto allies funnelled money all over the state to ally's campaigns. Did any money make it to westmoreland county? might be worth looking into...
Is the Republican Party now the "Conservative" Party? What does that mean? Conservative on economic issues or social issues, or both?
If there is now a litmus test to be a Republican it will fracture the party the way the Democratic Party was a generation ago. In our county Republicans may feel empowered because of recent success, but a look across Pennsylvania and this nation show attitudes trending a different way. Intolerance on social issues will drive people away, or at best encourage them to stay at home.
Okay Frank - I am so glad you have such a good relationship with Ron Panepinto - you are full of integrity! Yep - I'm dripping with sarcasm -Frank, you're a sellout - for what, 10 grand?
Frank - 1. you are NOT an ORIE. 2. You have just tried to justify being a complete hypocrite by digging through campaign donations from 20 years prior. If anyone who reads this doesn't see what a complete loser frank schiefer is, take your glasses off. He took 10 grand from "Ron Panepinto" worked against our endorsed slate of Republican candidates (statewide and county wide), and then lied about the reasons for doing it. Integrity? Again, you have a lot to learn, and you've done a poor job of hiding your motivations. Good thing you're not smart enough to cover yourself, or else some people would still be snowballed. I, however, have never been and will never be snowballed by you.
IF you are not Ben, you a low life looser just like he is. I think you and he should just grow up. How did Ben get his nice job anyhow? By sucking up and not caring who he stabs in the back (a former senator comes to mind). Why did we support Panepinto? Read his bio. It is VERY impressive. He is a man of integrity. He is actually one of us. Don't bash the judge until you get the chance to meet him. As far as Frank goes........You both are pure evil to talk about a felloow Republican in that way.
Perry with all respect I think you put a lot of stuff on here just to get people riled up. This post and the poll about Schiefer just to name a few I think you get a kick out of causing problems and hoping it makes whispers. Which is your right but I wanted to point it out in a comment.
I think you should start a separate blog or a message board where people can go and bash and defend Frank Schiefer I believe pages could be filled up with people arguing back and forth about him. I also thought of a new poll about how Westmoreland GOP politics seem to revolve around Schiefer because most of the messages on here are about Frank. To the pro and con Schiefer people whats the big deal about him? Why so much interest and talk about a jury commissioner who manages a candy store? I just dont see the fuss.

The way the party treated people who did support him would of made one think his supporters were effective. Judges can't give candidates money.
Looked into it...it was his brother Ron who made the contributions....not the judge himself
His brother can do anything he wants with his own money.

We should look into Ories financial records Panepento gave her 10k last time she ran and got crushed is she a sellout too?
Frank - you are REALLY digging here - HAHAHAHAHA . . . I thought judges couldn't give money! HAHAHAHA!
You are the sellout Frank. The Ories weren't bribed like you. A donation shouldn't have strings attached, thats one of the deadly sins of politics.
Not only is that desperate as the above commenter said but a bold faced lie:
http://www.campaignfinance.state.pa.us/ContributionSearchResults.aspx?RequestID=273033&SortOrder=0&StartRow=1&RowsPerPage=99
As you will see from 1990 on no Panepinto gave money to an Orie statewide campaign....period.
Nice try though
Hey Ben why do you hate Frank so much? If you concentrated on your job as much as you do bashing Frank you could actually get something accomplished.
One of you people who hate Frank so much should step up and run against him for jury commissioner in 4 years he'd love the thrill of beating you all.

I love that I can write whatever I want and people STILL think I'm Ben Wren - HAHAHAHA - Sorry Ben!!!
What county wide candidate did he work against.

This is hilarious!
That comment is totally and completely wrong about Ben. If anyone is a "low life looser" it is your or the person who taught you to spell loser.
I have a huge man crush on Perry Christopher - but since I'm a woman, I guess it's just a crush.
Why didn't you also mention that fellow also had a typo in it. Weird that it was the same letter.

Not true. I have always pondered why some guys were so hot for the judge. I have spoke to him and met him. I was less than impressed.
As for the Schiefer poll, it was relevant.
Will Frank support Judge Paul Panepinto or Harry Smail jr for superior court?
