George Dunbar to run against Casorio?

I have heard from several folks that George Dunbar will resign as GOP chair and run for state represenative againt Jim Casorio.

Bill Scranton endorsed Gerlach for Governor.

Someone asked me what do I think. I don't know. I like Bill Scranton and I would vote for him for Governor or US Senator. However, I have never met Gerlach. Can't even remember his first name at the moment. I do know he was in that republican controlled House of Representatives that totally lost their way and helped lead us to this massive democrat majority in Washington.

I have met Tom Corbett. I like him. I trust him. I will continue to support him for governor.

Lot of talk going around about GOP team for Gov

People want Pat Meehan to run with Tom Corbett. I hate to tell you all this. Nobody cares who the candidate for Lt Gov is. They vote for governor. Personally, I think Corbett wins the GOP nomination for governor no matter what. Let the Lt. Gov primary be a free for all! Let's actually have some excitement and a discussion of ideas in a primary. Go back in time. Lynn Swann would have been a better candidate for governor had he actually beat Bill Scranton in a real race for governor. Or maybe Scranton would have beaten him had Swann not hidden from debate. We will never know. We only know that Lynn Swann was beaten BADLY!

Holy Crap!

Sen Arlen Specter makes it official and becomes a democrat. I bet Santorum wants to kick him in the ass over this!!!!! Arlen knew he was going to lose to Toomey. This makes a Toomey victory in November much more difficult!

Seems Kevin and I always support the same candidates. Looks like he might be running for Pittsburgh mayor.

Tom Corbett for Governor

A friend tells me Glen Meakem is not running for governor. Source: Meakem's radio show. I firmly support Corbett for Governor if he chooses to run. Corbett is a proven statewide winner and a good person. He has also been an effective attorney general.

What's next for the PAGOP?

In my opinion, our next move should be....Glen Meakem for Governor!
